Sorry to inform you that it's a rainy 37 degrees in Knoxville, and yesterday was declared a snow day the night before any "snow" hit. And we got a whopping 1/2 inch (!) of "snow" after all the talk. You'd have thought we'd maybe get a foot, at least, based on the frenzied shopping and "ominous" weather reports.
I know it's sick and wrong, but I get the warm fuzzies every time I see a customer wearing Duck Boots. They're borderline unnecessary in this climate, so I can't justify getting any myself. But it's nice to know they're there, just the same.
